1) Tour of the Rocky Mountain Front
This tour will be guided by Michael Oard a Montana expert on geomorphology (Shape of the land) that resulted from the flood of Noah. This is a must see event if you are not familiar with how the worldwide flood changed the landscape and left tremendous evidence behind (and it is in plain sight... but missed by most people!) This event will puts some miles on your car as we travel the byways of Montana. Make sure to bring lots of water and a sack lunch. Binoculars and cameras are recommended.
2) Tour of near anthropological sites
Dr. Thomas will lead this great tour that will clarify history of the region so that a true biblical interpretation is understood. Pictograph State Park and Pompey's Pillar National Monument will be stops on this tour. The state park and national monument parks will charge an entrance fee.
3) Private Youth Tour of Zoo Montana
YCC is privileged to have a ZooMontana staff person available to lead this tour as she (Melanie Richards) explains the origins of animals by Biblical Kinds. Your children will love this tour! The Zoo charges a fee for entrance. The cost is $7 per person (zoo fee) and is limited to just Thursday.
Each tour will be offered twice on both Wednesday July 15 and an identical tour on Thursday July 16. Be prepared for very warm weather. Sun screen is a must along with plenty of water. For tours # 1 & #2 everyone should have their own sack lunch. Good hiking shoes are a must. Understand that the weather can change quickly; we recommend that everyone bring rain gear just in case. A release from liability form must be signed and turned into the trip leaders before participation is allowed. Rattlesnakes may be encountered on trip #2.
