Conference Speakers:Dr. Randy Guliuzza has a B.S. in Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, a B.A. in theology from Moody Bible Institute, an M.D. from the University of Minnesota, and a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University. Dr. Guliuzza served nine years in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps and is a registered Professional Engineer. In 2008, he retired as Lt. Col. from the U.S. Air Force, where he served as Flight Surgeon and Chief of Aerospace Medicine. He is the author of Made in His Image: Examining the complexities of the human body; and Clearly Seen: Constructing Solid Arguments for Design.
Dr. Horton holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Dickinson State College (University) in Dickinson, North Dakota. He earned a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and a Master of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Horton practiced veterinary medicine on both large and small animals in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana for 20 years. During the last five years of veterinary practice he answered God’s call to church leadership and established two churches in the Valley. He was the senior pastor of Crossroads Christian Fellowship in Victor, MT for 21 years. Dr. Horton is the author of "The Foundation of Everything," a commentary on Genesis 1-3. He is the full-time director of IBA since the spring of 2018. Dr. Tim Clarey received a Master of Science in Geology in 1984 from the University of Wyoming. He earned a Master of Science in Hydrogeology in 1993 and a Ph.D. in Geology in 1996 from Western Michigan University. For nearly a decade, Dr. Clarey worked as an exploration geologist at Chevron USA, Inc., developing oil drilling prospects and analyzing assets and lease purchases. He was Full Professor and Geosciences Chair at Delta College in Michigan for 17 years before leaving to join the science staff at the Institute for Creation Research in 2013. As Research Associate, he’s studying sedimentary rocks across the globe to find further evidence for the Genesis Flood. Dr. Clarey has published two college laboratory books and many papers on various aspects of geology. He is the author of Dinosaurs: Marvels of God’s Design and a contributor to Guide to Dinosaurs. He is co-author (with his wife, Renee’) of the children’s book Big Plans for Henry. This summer, he will have a new book out on the geologic evidence supporting a global Flood, available from ICR.
